[OFBiz] Dev - Proposal for CVS tags to improve release process

Dear David & Andy, Brett, Ian, et al.:

First of all, I do think the release process should be a community one, 
rather than relying exclusively on Dave & Andy.  After all, they've 
already given us the code base. :-)

If there are tags in the cvs for, as Andy mentioned, points where major 
development is completed, that would be great.  If not, I was ready to 
just download a copy and see if I could find most of the functions 
working.  Or, if Brett has a testing suite that can be used to verify 
core functions, then that would be a great starting point.

 From there, I think we can just collaborate on moving all our code 
bases up to the new one as well as posting any fixes against it, as 
needed.  Things such as making a list of new entities & services, 
changes in the fields the entity engine is creating, new features such 
as form and screen widgets could be shared, as well as any database 
changing scripts that may be needed from time to time.

I'd be happy to work on this with anyone else who is interested...
