[OFBiz] Dev - New Checkout feature ideas

Sorry Daniel,  I don't understand.  Why not just have 'free delivery' as
just one of the available options and keep shipping switched on?

Sorry if I'm being dumb.

I'm not sure how complicated point 2 will be.  You don't know how much the
total cost will be until the customer has selected their delivery option
(for example what if they want a load of free material but want it
airmailed thereby incurring a cost).  After they have specified this then
you could maybe run a script within the 'checkoutoptions.ftl' and
'checkoutpayment.ftl' files to check if the amount was zero and, if so,
then don't show the payment methods.  I think you'd have to do a bsh
script for that as well.
