I've just discussed your proposal with our UI man. We believe there's no
significant improvement (English it's not our primary language). Also,
think about other languages (i18n), how will they make the difference?

For me, the current situation is the best (less is more, and as a
programmer I don't like adding redundant buttons). But for end-users, a
Cancel would be useful. However, this isn't high on our priority list
and we can bring this point up again later (with patches included). 

What do others think?
