proxies are IP and port based.
HTTP is port 80 which most proxies are configured for.
check you HTTPS port and make sure it matches.
Also make sure that the Proxy Ip is being used.

Subject: [OFBiz] Users - access denied trough http-proxy

i've recognized, that accessing ofbiz's https-urls doesn't work through
our http-proxy (squid 2.2). every https-access results in:

The following error was encountered:

     * Access Denied.

       Access control configuration prevents your request from being
allowed at this time. Please contact your service provider if you feel
this is incorrect.

i know, that it's a quite old version of squid, but maybe there are more
people (possible customers) out there, running older versions of some
http-proxies. have more people recognized proxy-problems? are there
known work-arounds?

thanks,
	andi
