I've got the java rpm from Sun, not included in my Linux distrib.
[marius at marte marius]$ echo $JAVA_HOME
/usr/java/j2sdk1.4.2
[marius at marte marius]$ java -version
java version "1.4.2"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.2-b28)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.4.2-b28, mixed mode)

First time I hear about this, I will check.
I'll remove j2sdk and install j2ee to see how it behaves with it.
