I would also prefer the training before hand.  It would be nice to have a
good overview before getting into the specific talks of the conference.

The original plan was to do training on the 2 days preceding the 
conference, ie Tuesday and Wednesday.

I'd be fine doing it either way, but I would like to hear what people 
think about this and of those interested in attending the 2 days of 
training that will be happening along with the conference, which would 
they prefer: the 2 days before or the 2 days after?

One of the reasons for doing it before the conference is so that people 
who are newer to OFBiz will be able to participate more fully during 
the conference based on their increased understanding of it.
